This area specializes in the analysis of inorganic parameters pertaining to water. These include trace levels of metals and other components as well as physical and general characterizations. Applications of the technologies available include groundwater monitoring, effluent and pond assessment, potable water analysis, waste characterization and other environmental and health related purposes. Automation and computerization are used extensively to assist in "realtime" quality control and sample processing capability. Training and management of personnel ensure that all systems are maintained at optimum efficiency at all times.
AGAT’s Experience with Inorganics in Water
In addition to being accredited by the SCC/CAEAL, our water laboratory has also been validated by the Alberta Water Analysts Committee through performance Round Robin Testing. This validation demonstrates our policy of participating in as many applicable third party Round Robin performance tests as possible in order to achieve external feedback on our performance.
