AGAT Laboratories in Dartmouth, NS, is currently in search of the following position: Sample Reception Technician.
Computer literacy is a must to be considered for this position.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
- A Post Secondary Education an asset (although exceptions may be made);
- Computer knowledge;
- Good organizational skills;
- Able to work well independently and within a team;
- Knowledge of TDG regulations is an asset;
- Familiarity with chemistry is an asset.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Reception and Log-in of Environmental (water & soil) samples;
- Occasional Preparing and shipping of sample bottles;
- Occasional lifting (30-40lbs);
- Pickup and delivery of samples and supplies
