AGAT Laboratories’ Eastern Canada Headquarters, in Mississauga, Ontario, is currently in search of the following position:
· Sample Coordinator
The hours for this position include weekdays 10am – 7pm and Saturdays 8am – 5pm. This is an entry-level position with some possibility of advancement. Training will be available for the successful client.
Computer literacy is a must, no candidates will be considered without computer knowledge.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
· Reception and Log-in of Environmental (water & soil) samples
· Occasional Preparing and shipping of sample bottles
· Occasional lifting (30-40lbs)
The successful candidate(s) should be/have:
· Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
· A Post Secondary Education (although exceptions may be made);
· Computer knowledge;
· Good organizational skills;
· Able to work well independently and within a team;
· Knowledge of TDG regulations is an asset;
· Familiarity with chemistry is an asset.
