AGAT Laboratories is currently in search of a dynamic individual to join our Management Team in Calgary in the position of Human Resources Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning, directing and carrying out policies relating to all phases of personnel activity.
- Recruiting, interviewing and selecting employees to fill vacant positions.
- Planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster Company goals.
- Conducting wage surveys within the labour market to determine competitive wage rates.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory concerns.
- Benefits administration.
- Performance management and improvement systems.
- Employee relations.
- Administering the Company’s Safety program.
- Department budget preparation.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- Five years to ten years of experience.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal and Provincial regulations to personnel administration.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of organization, coordination and communication with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Skill in planning, directing and administering human resource programs and systems.
- Ability to act as liaison during personnel matters.
