With a broad range of staff experience and state of the art instrumentation, AGAT provides a level of service and quality that sets the standard for the laboratory industry.</p> <p align="left" class="Black">The successful candidate(s) must possess: </p> <ul> <li class="Black">B.Sc/diploma in chemistry, biochemistry or equivalent and Certificate of Training in Asbestos Identification; </li> <li class="Black">At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience </li> <li class="Black">Knowledge of Asbestos identification via microscopy using NIOSH Method 7400 </li> <li class="Black">Experience in the use of Polarized Light Microscope and Stereomicroscope</li> <li class="Black">Computer literacy: Word and Excel Knowledge </li> <li class="Black">Be able to work well under pressure; prepared to work the hours required to "get the job done" </li> <li class="Black">Work well independently and within a team </li> </ul> <br /> <p align="left" class="Black">Tasks of the technician : </p> <ul> <li class="Black">Perform activities related to preparation and analysis of samples for asbestos analysis;</li> <li class="Black">Verify data to ensure quality and conformity;</li> <li class="Black">Participate in problem-solving related to instruments and work ;</li> <li class="Black">Participate in the validation of analytical methods and the revision of method SOP s ;</li> </ul> <p align="left"><span class="Black">AGAT would like to thank all applicants, however, only candidates that meet the requirements will be contacted.
