AGAT Laboratories is a full service laboratory with a network of laboratories and branches across Canada and in Villa Hermosa, Ciudad del Carmen, and Tampico in Mexico. AGAT’s Environmental Division, comprised of chemists, biochemists, botanists, microbiologists, biologists, occupational hygienists and environmental scientists, has the capability and experience to accurately and precisely analyze a large variety of sample matrices. It is a comprehensive service designed to meet the needs of Environmental Consultants, Industry and Governments. The Environmental Division is involved in a wide variety of environmental related analyses. The types of analyses are largely based on contaminated sites testing, detailed soil analysis and drinking water standards. Through detailed reports and our WebEarth web based reporting software, we are able to provide our clients with specific guidelines relating to contamination and remediation. As well, with our sophisticated instrumentation and highly qualified staff we are able to provide our clients with superior results. An important part of providing this service to our clients is to give them results that are clear and concise. Our unique reporting system satisfies this requirement, allowing for easy interpretation of pertinent information. AGAT is accredited by the Canadian Association of Environmental Analytical Laboratories (CAEAL) for specific parameters. AGAT’s team of experienced occupational hygienists offer a wide array of services, from asbestos monitoring to indoor air quality. AGAT is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) for every parameter offered.

Air Quality Monitoring Services. Since 1965, AGAT Laboratories' Air Quality Monitoring Division has provided a full range of Ambient Air Quality Monitoring services including Stack Emission testing making it a recognized leader in the field. These services assist clients in achieving regulatory compliance and evaluating the effectiveness of their air quality management system. Our WebAIR software is a database of all air readings and automatically alerts the client of any violations of the Air Monitoring Directive.

AGAT's Oil and Gas Chemistry Lab is fully equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and automation to perform fluid analysis ranging from basic oil, water, gas and condensate to complex pressure-volume-temperature studies. Our advanced computer system ensures the complete generation of reports from start to finish. AGAT's WebFLUID System offers significant benefits to oil and gas companies in the management of their inventory of natural resources.

AGAT's Tribology or Preventive Maintenance Division, offers a full spectrum of laboratory services, including lubricating fluid, hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid, jet fuel testing and amine and glycol analyses. The division boasts exceptional turnaround times and highly automated analysis. Results are available to clients through AGAT's Oil Analysis Sample Information System (WebOASIS) software which, automatically sends an Alert email message of any critical results to the maintenance professional. AGAT's Tribology division is ISO 9001:2000 registered.

AGAT's Rock Properties Division provides an integrated geological and engineering approach to conventional core and special core analysis. AGAT's geologists, engineers and technicians offer a comprehensive reservoir quality analysis aiding in resolving potential reservoir quality and fluid sensitivity problems. AGAT's geological group offers seminars on various topics and informative field trips to various geological formations. AGAT's WebROCK Core Data Management System is designed to improve our clients' ability to access and maintain laboratory core data and core related photographs.

AGAT's Reservoir Engineering Division conducts a wide range of sophisticated tests utilizing equipment that simulates most extremes of pressure and temperature experienced in primary to advanced EOR production conditions. The department provides both analytical laboratory and consulting services in all aspects of Phase Behavior (PVT) as well as Special Core Studies (SCAL). All tests are designed to meet clients' needs in the areas of drilling, completions and production operations.

AGAT's Agricultural Division offers a comprehensive service designed to meet the needs of the agricultural professional. Staffed by soils and plant specialists, our services range from basic fertilizer recommendations to full soil profiling including micronutrient analysis. Our reporting is clear and concise, allowing for easy interpretation of pertinent information.
