Accreditation is defined as the formal recognition of the competence of a laboratory to perform specific functions and is offered to a laboratory who has completed the requirements of certification for specific tests and passed an on-site audit of the Laboratory’s Quality Assurance System.

AGAT Laboratories is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and/or the Canadian Association for Environmental Analytical Laboratories (CAEAL) for specific environmental tests listed in the scope of accreditation at specific locations. Accreditations are location and parameter specific and a complete listing of parameters is available from www.scc.ca and/or www.caeal.ca.

AGAT Laboratories Calgary is also accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) for specific tests that are listed on the AIHA website at: www.aiha.org.

AGAT Laboratories is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologist and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).

The above organizations audit the Laboratory Quality Assurance System on a regular basis according to international standards.
