AGAT Laboratories, in Calgary, AB, is currently in search of an experienced chemist to work in our colourimetric area in our environmental inorganics laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have:
- BSc degree in Chemistry or related analytical field;
- 3 - 5 years of instrumentation experience in a (commercial) analytical laboratory;
- Experience with sample digestion and preparation methods (including but not limited to EPA, ASTM etc.) ;
- Familiarity with the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Technicon, FIA, Astoria and/or Seal discrete analyzers;
- Ability to validate equipment and interpret data;
- Experience with LIMS systems and quality control protocols;
- Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment;
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
