Requirements:
To work with a team performing air emissions testing at
various industrial facilities throughout Alberta. This role involves
becoming proficient in the use of a variety of test equipment and methods
used to measure the chemical and physical characteristics of source
emissions to the atmosphere. The candidate will also become familiar with
Alberta Stack Sampling Code and the Continuous Emissions Monitoring Code
and their applications. Other duties will include equipment maintenance
and repair, job preparation and ordering spare parts and materials. This
role also provides an excellent introduction to the oil and gas industry
in Alberta.
The successful candidate should be;
- comfortable
with travelling throughout Alberta
- willing
to work beyond 8 hours per day
- able to
work outside in all weather conditions
This position requires;
- a valid
Class 5 drivers license with proof
of a good driving history
- solid
physical fitness and some heavy lifting
- ability
to climb and work at heights up to 150 feet
- some mechanical,
electrical, and chemical aptitude
